Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actress. In his first television appearances, Evans played roles such as Opposite sex in 2000. After appearing in several teenage films, like Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he became known for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans was also featured in films of comics as well as graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). As well as his part as Captain America/Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. The work he did on the Marvel series established him as one of the world's highest-paid actors.
